1. Movies on the Lawn - "We Bought a Zoo"

Monday, June 17 at 8:30 p.m.—Collingswood Manor

"Collingswood Manor presents, 'Movies on the Lawn', the first of 3 summer movies on the front lawn of the Manor. The community, friends and neighbors are invited to join us. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets. Free of charge, weather permitting."

2. Special Meeting: Municipal Budget

Collingswood borough commissioners will formally introduce the annual municipal budget at a special session Wednesday. Collingswood can expect about a $56 average household increase in what is anticipated to be a $16.1 million budget, according to Mayor James Maley. 

3. GMO-Free NJ Monthly Meeting

Thursday, June 20 at 7 p.m.—Collingswood Public Library

"Our speaker will be Amanda Bossard, founder of Otolith Sustainable Seafood which supports new and existing sustainable harvesters and successful management practices. This comes at a time of expected FDA approval of genetically engineered salmon. Free and open to the public. There will be a door prize from Otolith that can be redeemed at the Collingswood Farmers’ Market."  

4. Mr. Malcolm Presents: Journey to the Center of the Earth

Friday, June 21 at 4 p.m.—Collingswood Public Library

Storyteller Mr. Malcolm presents his unique, humorous interactive interpretation of the classic Jules Verne tale; suitable for the entire family.

5. Fridays Live: The Front Porch Quartet

Friday, June 21 at 8:30 p.m.—Grooveground

"Four friends gathered together in a room making the music they love, that is now known as The Front Porch Quartet. Equal parts, loose and disciplined, the band plays anything from Coltrane to Chet Atkins to Brian Ceno."
