1. Collingswood Commissioners Candidate Forum

Tuesday, April 30 from 7 to 9 p.m.—Scottish Rite Ballroom

"Candidates for the May 2013 Collingswood borough commissioners election will be on hand Tuesday night to discuss the issues that matter most to Collingswood at a free, public candidate forum.

"Hosted and moderated by representatives from Collingswood PatchThe Retrospect, and What’s On Collingswood, this nonpartisan event runs from 7 to 9 p.m. April 30 at the Scottish Rite Ballroom."

2. First Thursday Jazz Concerts

Thursday, May 2 at 7:30 p.m.—Collingswood Community Center

3. Symphony in C Summer Music Camp Preview

Friday, May 3 at 5:30 p.m.—Wamsley Violin

"Symphony Summer Camp is open to students studying string, woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments who will be entering grades 6 – 12 in fall of 2013.  

"Students will be introduced to musical performance, with daily lessons designed to enhance music skills, as well as teaching children melody, pitch and ear training-all essential skills for aspiring musicians. All campers receive the music and book materials they will need for the camp, as well as a recording of the final concert." 

4. Free Comic Book Day

Saturday, May 4 at 11 a.m.—Collingswood Public Library

"Get your inner superhero on and come to the Collingswood Public Library on Saturday, May 4th from 11am to 1pm. The Friends of the Library and Fat Jack's Comicrypt host the event with free comics, refreshments, and prizes."

5. Collingswood Farmers Market Opening Day 

Saturday, May 4 at 8 a.m.—Collingswood PATCO Hi-Speedline Station
