Santa Claus is Coming to Town — a Lot!

Grab your wish list and meet Santa at Haddon Avenue's West Side Gravy for one of his various appearances.

Santa Claus will report to local headquarters — in the storefront window of West Side Gravy restaurant— seven times before Christmas Day.

West Side Gravy, located at 714 Haddon Avenue in Collingswood, has already welcomed Santa once, on Saturday, Nov. 27. But to accommodate everyone, Santa has scheduled additional appearances through the holidays.

The usual carolers, snow and holiday lights on Haddon Avenue will provide a backdrop to Santa's appearances — and to document the experience, Father Christmas will be available for photos. But Mr. Claus has one request — that visitors bring a canned good donation for the Custodian Maintenance Food Drive of Collingswood.

On Friday, Dec. 3, Santa will be at West Side Gravy from 6 to 9 p.m. The following day, Saturday, Dec. 4, he'll appear twice — first from noon until 3 p.m., and again from 5 to 8 p.m.

The following weekend, visitors can meet Santa Claus from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 10. On Saturday, Dec. 11, he'll be on-site from noon to 3 p.m., and again from 5 to 8 p.m. And Sunday, Dec. 12, visits will run from 1 to 3 p.m.

But Santa isn't done yet.

On Friday, Dec. 17, he'll return from 6 to 9 p.m. On Saturday, Dec. 18, he has scheduled two visits — first from noon to 4 p.m., and again from 5 to 9 p.m.

While that may be the end of the line for Santa's West Side Gravy debuts, it's not the end of his local appearances.

From 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 19, Mr. Claus will be greeting locals at Oaklyn's Blackbird Dining Establishment, located at 619 Collings Avenue.

And Santa's dedication runs so deep, he's even made time to meet with last-minute holiday fans — on Christmas Eve! But he won't be sitting still, what with so many things to do on his mind. Starting at 1 p.m. on Christmas Eve, Santa Claus will be strolling up and down Haddon Avenue. But hurry, because Santa's stroll ends 3 p.m. — leaving just enough time to feed his reindeer, help his elves load the sleigh, and visit all good girls and boys on his annual trip-round-the-world.
