It was a big weekend of music in the borough that culminated in a sold-out Sunday performance at the Scottish Rite theater from Steve Hackett of Genesis.
Photographer Cathy Poulton of the Chicago-based music blog Consequence of Sound has some nice pictures of the event.
Her review points out, rightly, how progressive rock acts draw well at the theater because the Philadelphia area "was one of the first to embrace the progressive rock movement in the early ’70s, which included other bands such as Yes, Emerson Lake and Palmer, and Pink Floyd."
