Sages of Ages

There are plenty of activities leading up to the 10th annual Collingswood Book Festival on Saturday, October 6th.  One of the most anticipated is the highly-popular Sages of Ages.  Sages of Ages is dedicated to the 50-plus crowd who like to participate in the Book Festival in a unique and different way.

On Wednesday, October 3rd, participants get to take part in an interactive afternoon at the Collingswood Community Center with speakers, games to keep the mind active, and of course prizes!

This year we have three outstanding speakers who all promise to be a hit with attendees.  Jean Brennan, Chairperson of the Book Festival, will provide an overview on the 10 years of the festival that she founded. Continuing with the Images of America series, Sandra White-Grear and Bill Brahms will discuss their book, Haddon Township.  If that gets you in the mood to try writing, Peter Murphy from the Murphy Writing Seminars will conduct a “hands-on” presentation.

Adding to the fun, everyone leaves with a free bag of books and if you are lucky enough, a handmade prize.  Best yet, the entire event is free of charge.

Once again, Sages of Ages takes place at the Collingswood Community Center, Wednesday October 3rd, from 1 to 4 pm.
