How Cool is This? Enterprise Shuttle on NJ Flyover

Wall Twp. photographer Mike Black snagged these images of the shuttle coming in for a landing Friday.

Engage! The space shuttle Enterprise soared over New Jersey en route to her new home at the New York Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum on Friday. Wall Township photographer Mike Black was able to snap these beautiful photos on approach.

The historic aircraft, which dates back to 1976, was re-named from Constitution at the request of U.S. President Gerald Ford. Citing the biography of DeForest Kelley, who played Dr. Leonard McCoy on Star Trek, Wikipedia notes that the cast and creator of the famous television show were on hand for its dedication.
