Collingswood Man Working to Bring Inflatable Michael Landon to Town

Joseph Bonaparte wants to see Collingswood's favorite son come home, njpen.com reports.

A local man is interested in erecting a fiberglass muffler man of Collingswood native and TV star Michael Landon, njpen.com reports.

Fiberglass men have been a part of the southern New Jersey landscape for years, and Collingswood's Joesph Bonaparte feels it's time Landon joins that group, according to the report.

Landon is best known for his starring role on the TV shows "Little House on the Prairie" and "Highway to Heaven." He also appeared on "Bonanza."

hey, if you can build a water fountain in the middle of Haddon Ave, why not just add this - you can have the fountain coming out of his ears or something

What exactly did Landon do for Collingswood? Am I missing something? I thought he was an actor and someone who moved away never to return, and I thought he could care less about this place?? If that is the case raise money for something that could change someones life, only about 300 cases of diseases you could raise money for, or people out of work that need help, or just something for the kids. What a waste of time and money. I am sure Landon would rather help some one else than have a giant blow-up of himself.

He is DEAD, so I don't think he cares what we do.
