Blessing of the Animals at Holy Trinity 10:30 Saturday Morning

Pets and stuffed animals are welcome for the outdoor service; an offering will be taken for the benefit of local animal shelters as well.

Holy Trinity Episcopal Church will host an outdoor service celebrating the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi with an outdoor service and pet blessing on Saturday morning.

At 10:30 a.m., pet owners are invited to bring their (leashed) animals to the church at Haddon and Fern Avenues in Collingswood for a blessing.

"Children are also invited to bring any cherished stuffed animals that might be in need of a blessing," the borough announced in a statement

Refreshments and treats will be served afterwards. Parishioners are also invited to make an offering for the benefit of local animal shelters.

In the event of rain, the service will be held inside the church in its downstairs Great Hall. Call 856-858-0491 for details.
