December began with above-normal temperatures (in the 50s) over the weekend. The warming trend will continue today and tomorrow before dropping off a bit on Wednesday. The normal high for this time of year is 49 degrees.

Look for a mix of sun and clouds today, December 3rd. It will be an absolutely beautiful day with a high in the low 60s.

Winds will shift out of the south on Tuesday, December 4th, increasing our temperatures even more. Skies again will feature a mix of sun and clouds. The high temperature will be in the mid-60s! Some showers will move in after dark, associated with a cold front.

Behind the cold front, Wednesday, December 5th, will be cooler but still mild. I can't rule out an early shower, but the sun will quickly return and temperatures will receover into the upper 50s.

High pressure will take over on Thursday, December 6th. Consequently, skies will feature nearly 100 percent sunshine but temperatures will be much cooler. The high will be around 45.

We'll still be under high pressure on Friday, December 7th. Temperatures will be seasonable with a mix of sun and clouds. The high will be around 50.

We will be in the area ahead of a cold front, called the warm sector, on both Saturday, December 8th and Sunday, December 9th. This means that there will be the possibility of some showers, but temperatures again will be between 55 and 60. However, this is about a week away so things could change.
