Get ready to run for your life, Collingswood. The zombies are coming back to town.

These zombies don’t just want to feast on you, they want you to help raise money for Garfield Elementary School’s PTA.

The second annual 5K Zombie Chase is on Saturday, Oct. 27 in Knight Park. The brave runners can register starting at 7:30 a.m., with the race beginning at 8:30 a.m. After the race, there will be a trick or treat walk, plus medals, T-shirts and goodie bags for the runners.

Come dressed in your running gear or in costume, just be prepared to outrun the zombies either way.

At last year’s inaugural run, Mother Nature provided a fitting creepy setting as a steady rain fell. Click on the video above for a taste of last year’s run.
