Two Collingswood wrestlers survived the quarterfinal round at the Region 7 tournament Saturday, keeping them in the race for a title. 

Alex Irwin defeated Justin Miller of Allentown by a 3-2 decision in the 145-pound weight class. Mike Campbell won a 6-4 decision over Devin McMonag of Audubon in the 160-pound class, NJ.com reports.

The two will continue to compete at regions on Saturday. 

Two other Panthers wrestlers bowed out Friday with losses in their matches. John Deaner (220 pounds) and Ali Ayaz (152 pounds) were both pinned by their opponents. 

Semifinals begin Saturday morning, and the finals at 5 p.m. The top three wrestlers in each weight class go on to states in Atlantic City.
