Agreed. In fact, maybe our police department should not even waste its time (and our tax dollars) on crime where the "victim" is an imbecile. Is there really any other way to describe someone who leaves a laptop or an iPod plainly visible in an unlocked car, especially at the Heights? Frankly, it was a stupid move even if the doors were locked. Wake up, indeed!

If someone got into my car, he or she would get a bunch of old papers, a few empty bottles, and some paperback books.
