Welcome back, Patch Blogger!

Meet BOE Candidate Terry Moody

The father of two is a retired schoolteacher of 44 years who has lived in Collingswood for nearly 40 years and has two grandchildren in the district.

In advance of Election Day (Tuesday, Nov. 6), Collingswood Patch will bring you information on each of the five Board of Education candidates seeking office for the upcoming term.

The following personal statement was provided to the Collingswood School District by Board of Education candidate Terry Moody. Patch is reprinting it here, unaltered.

My name is Terry Moody and I am a candidate for the Collingswood Board of Education. My wife Mary and I moved to Collingswood in 1973 and are the parents of two children, Adrienne and Dechlin, both of whom attended and graduated from the Collingswood School District. We now have two grandchildren, Ashley and Michael, who attend Collingswood Schools.

I graduated from Bloomsburg State University with a BS in Special Education and earned a MA at St. Joseph University. I am presently retired after teaching forty- four years in Philadelphia, PA and New Jersey.

Schools are the lifeline and future of a community and I would like to be involved.
