From gardens to gameries to (doll) glamour, we have the hottest spots to take the kids this weekend in South Jersey.
Get out of the house this weekend and grab a date night at a local restaurant while the kids are painting in their PJs! Or, gather up the troops and make the trip over the bridge for the Flower Show. Here is your ultimate guide to a fantastic weekend in the area:
Event: PJs, Pizza, & Painting
Where: All Fired Up, 602 Haddon Ave., Collingswood
When: Friday, March 16, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Why go: This kids-only event at All Fired Up will give parents a chance to enjoy one of Collingswood's many delicious restaurants for a romantic night out, while the kids have fun in good hands. Children ages 5 and older are invited to All Fired Up for a fantastic night painting pottery, watching the movie Kung Fu Panda 2 and eating pizza in their pajamas. Call 856-833-1330 now to register and place your $15 deposit.
Cost: Two full hours of fun for $30 per child.

Game Club
Where: Rhinoceros Gamery and Toys, Haddonfield
When: Every day!
Why Go: Participate in this amazing club. The deal is that you get to take home two games per week from the large selection at the toy store. You must return the two games you borrow weekly, and you may take out another two games. It is a great, inexpensive way to play a variety of games for a low price.
Cost: The cost is $30 per year. More information available at the store.
Where: All Lowe's locations
When: Saturday, March 10, 10-11 a.m.
Why Go: Kids are invited to this clinic to build a Carnival Hoops game to take home this week. This clinic allows children to develop their fine motor skills while interacting with kids of various ages.
Cost: The cost is free! Click here to register ASAP as these events do tend to fill up fast.
Where: Tavistock Country Club, 1 Tavistock Ln., Haddonfield
When: Saturday, March 10 and Sunday, March 11 at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Why Go: Join the Ronald McDonald House of South Jersey to raise money for their foundation at this fabulous event. American Doll fans will enjoy a fashion show, accompanied by a chance to win a ton of amazing prizes including birthday parties and other jam-packed prize packs. Girls may also sign up to be a model at their next event.
Cost: $35 per ticket
Where: The Philadelphia Flower Show
When: Saturday, March 10 at 10:30 a.m., noon and 1:30 p.m.
Why Go: Bring all of your little Sproutlets down to the flower show this weekend to catch Liz and Chica from Sprout's own Sunny Side Up Show. They will be doing 45-minute sets at the times listed below that will be sure to engage your little ones in some fun. Let the kids see their favorite shows come to life, while enjoying the amazing Hawaiian theme of the Flower Show.
