Collingswood Man Terrorizes Camden with Bomb Threats, Police Say

Alon Adams reportedly phoned in six reports of bombs and shootings throughout Camden on Thursday, emptying buildings while police searched for explosives.

A 25-year-old Collingswood man set Camden on edge Thursday when he allegedly phoned in several bomb threats, warning of explosives throughout the city and in a high school there.

Alon Adams, of the 500 block of Collings Avenue, was arrested Thursday morning for the reported threats.

Authorities accuse Adams of calling the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and Camden’s 911 system during a nearly two-hour period April 25. His calls, all of which proved to be false alarms, cleared buildings in Camden as officers searched for explosives.
