A kayaker on Newton Lake discovered a woman's body in the water late Monday afternoon, law-enforcement officials said.
Her body was found in the section of the lake that backs up to the Pewter Village residential complex, according to the officials.
Collingswood Fire and Police Departments, as well as emergency personnel from Oaklyn, were at the scene into the evening.
Authorities said they do not believe foul play was involved.
The investigation is being handled by the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.
