Angelo Lutz Wants Someone to Make Him an Offer

The latest dream of Collingswood's most connected restaurateur is to take the Kitchen Consigliere concept into living rooms across the country.

"It's like Mob Wives meets Cake Boss," says chef-owner Angelo Lutz of his reality TV pitch.

Lutz, , dished to video bloggers from the Star-Ledger's Munchmobile column about his latest entrepreneurial effort.

"We've met with a few production companies; there's some interest," Lutz told roving food reporter Peter Genovese. "Mob chef, that's where we're going."

Friday, Lutz told Patch that interest in his idea was more than passing. The chef partnered with a bicoastal production company to shoot a week's worth of footage at the LumberYard restaurant back in April.

"We have a scissor reel currently out in the networks, three of which are out on bid," he said.
