Alleged Sam Ash Guitar Thief, Accomplice Arrested
Martin Cohen, of York, Pa., is accused of smuggling high-end guitars out of Sam Ash Music in his pants. Dora Campbell, of National Park, NJ, is alleged to be his accomplice.
A man who allegedly twice smuggled high-end guitars out of Sam Ash Music in his pants was arrested last week, Cherry Hill Police said.
Martin H. Cohen, of York, PA, who police said slipped Les Paul guitars worth $2,800 down his pants, was charged with theft for the December incident.
His alleged accomplice, Dora Campbell, of National Park, NJ, was also caught and charged with conspiracy to commit theft, police said. Campbell threw up a smokescreen, distracting a number of store employees while Cohen committed the thefts, police said.
Both were served with their complaints and were released, police said.
