Two women who allegedly burglarized cars in the Future Fitness parking lot in Cherry Hill have also attempted to commit bank fraud in Haddon Heights, police said.

An alleged team of car burglars who have struck gyms in and around Cherry Hill has a third member, and has been spotted everywhere from South Jersey to Northeast Philadelphia.

Police are asking for help in trying to stop them, Cherry Hill Police said Friday.

The alleged thieves—two women previously spotted on surveillance, as well as a man—struck at cars outside Future Fitness on Route 70, and have allegedly used checks they stole to commit bank fraud in Haddon Heights and Oaklyn.

The suspects have primarily targeted cars where handbags have been left out in plain sight, police said.

They’ve used stolen credit cards from those thefts to buy gift cards, police said, traveling throughout South Jersey, including Camden and Burlington counties, and into Northeast Philadelphia during their spree.

The three have also committed or attempted to commit bank fraud using stolen checks at banks in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, police said.

Surveillance photos showed the two women using a late-model white or beige Buick Lacrosse SUV, and police now say they’re also using a black GMC SUV. Haddon Heights Police earlier indicated the alleged thieves are switching license plates on the Buick as they go from bank to bank.

Anyone with information related to the thefts, bank fraud or the three individuals is asked to contact Cherry Hill Detective Robert Kempf at 856-488-7833.
