Lost Your Cat? Neighbor Found Him

I found a sweet, clearly domesticated cat, very thin and cold curled in my backyard on E. Collingswood Ave. (Haddon Township, near Collingswood/Oaklyn/Audubon borders) around 9:30 AM on Monday.

  • No collar
  • No microchip, per vet
  • 4-5 years old, per vet
  • Weighs about 5.25 lbs (very skinny, appears to have been outside a long time)
  • Neutered
  • Declawed
  • Other then some fleas (under control), and underweight seems very healthy
  • Super friendly

He's currently safe, secure, and warm in my house being fed food and water and napping away. I can't imagine someone is not looking for this guy.

I have contacted all local animal shelters and non-emergency police, along with Craigslist ads, with no matches so far.

If this is your cat, please contact me with proof of ownership/photos/color/description etc. I would love to get him home if he's lost, but otherwise I'm perfectly happy to keep him.

SAM THE CAT

We've seen him walking around our back yard, comes to the window and seems VERY affectionate. Looks to be in very good condition and has a collar and tag with "Sam" on it. If he's lost, please post. If he's not, he just conned us out of some free food. We live on the west side of town.
